Polyurethane (2-pac) is a hardened paint applied to cabinet doors and drawers that can be mixed with any colour of your choice. It is a durable finish and can simply be touched up with matching 2-pac paint if general wear and tear occurs. At LCK, polyurethane cabinets come in 3 gloss levels; 100% gloss, 60% semi-gloss and 30% satin and can be applied to flat doors and drawers or more high-end profiled/patterned doors and drawers.
Laminate is a product manufactured using decorative paper and resin which is then bonded to MDF board and then edged in matching edge taped. It is a durable product that can withstand typical wear and tear and if damaged can be re-edged or replaced with new doors and drawers.
Polyurethane (2-pac) is the more expensive option of the 2 materials as this a custom colour option.
All materials used by Leisure Coast Kitchens Pty Ltd in the manufacture of cabinetry are of premium grade and to approved building standards. Leisure Coast Kitchens Pty Ltd warranty includes joinery, cabinets, laminate benchtops and glass splashbacks against faults in materials for a period of seven years from the date of installation, during which time any faulty components will be replaced at no cost to you.
Typically, from sign up stage to install stage is approximately 8-10 weeks.

Usually, cabinetry will be installed over 1-2 days, pending on the size of the space, with removal typically the day before (if applicable). Stone benchtops are usually check measured within 2 days of cabinetry being installed. Allow up to 10 days for stone benchtops to be installed.
Glass splashbacks (if applicable) are installed after benchtops are installed.
*Note: this is a rough guide and is circumstantial based on factors such as flooring, materials and quality control*
This depends on what flooring you are having. If you are following an existing floor line you will not need to worry about flooring. If you are replacing your flooring in conjunction with new cabinetry, we recommend for:
Tiled flooring: install before cabinetry install.
Vinyl flooring: Can be before or after. It will not affect the cabinetry.
Floating/hybrid flooring: install after cabinetry to avoid scotia trim around the base cabinetry and stone waterfall ends. Kick faces and stone waterfall ends (if applicable) will be installed after flooring is completed.
Solid timber flooring: install before cabinetry install, this includes sanding, re-varnish and polishing.
Polished concrete flooring: install before cabinetry install.
Carpet flooring: Can be before or after. It will not affect the cabinetry.
We do not supply or sell appliances such as sinks, taps, ovens, cooktops, rangehoods etc. We ask that you provide your own appliances as we can build and customise our cabinetry to suit the sizes of your appliances.
Leisure Coast Kitchens can arrange trades for your projects and schedule them in according to your install date. However, trades will invoice you direct and are to be paid independently to any of Leisure Coast Kitchen's contract pricing. If you prefer not to use our trusted trades, you are more than welcome to use your own.
We have created a document outlining care instructions for cabinetry, laminate benchtops, stone benchtops and glass splashback.
